KNW developed its electrical services portfolio initially to ensure that the electrical work required when installing heating systems met the high quality and service standards our clients have come to expect from their whole ‘KNW experience’.

The implementation of the revised Building Regulations – Part ‘P’ relates specifically to electrical installations – meant that only fully qualified electricians, working in compliance with these regulations and the IEE wiring regulations (BS7671) are allowed to commission new installations and alterations to existing systems without reference to the Local Authority Building Control Dept.

All of KNW’s electrical technicians are so qualified and registered, giving clients the confidence and assurance to entrust this important safety-led work to us.

Included in the available services are:

• Replacement of any electrical fitting, including socket outlets, control switches or ceiling roses.
• Adding/removing light fittings or switches to an existing circuit.
• Adding socket outlets and fused-spurs to an existing ring or radial circuit.
• Full or part house rewires.
• Installing or upgrading main or supplementary bonding.
