National Award for KNW

KNW have received a prestigious award from the National Home Improvement Council. The award was in recognition of KNW's work with the Energy Audit Company and the Local Authorities of Alnwick, Berwick and Tynedale, to install free insulation to homes in Northumberland.

The area has traditionally been difficult to target because of the diversity and spread of the properties but working in partnership with local agencies and authorities, the project proved to be so successful that all targets were exceeded.

The award from the National Home Improvement Council recognises that not only was the project a success, but also that home insulation is one of the easiest, cheapest and most efficient home improvement measures which householders can take to improve their homes.

The project has also been a runner up in the International Ashden Awards.
