Cavity wall insulation for hard to treat homes
KNW is one of the few installers trained and accredited to use the new Isothane system to insulate homes that were previously considered unsuitable for cavity wall insulation. Isothane has been specifically developed for narrow and uneven cavities, meaning many stone and non-standard construction homes can now be insulated.
Isothane has the added benefit of stabilising walls, by adhering the inner and outer layers together. This has the advantage of securing the construction of the home where wall ties may have become unstable over time. It can also be used for properties on flood plains (previously untreatable with conventional insulation solutions).
We also offer cavity clearing work. If you have been told that your home is unsuitable for conventional insulation, give us a call to see if we can help make your home warmer.
